History
Zip-Bit Inc. was created by me as an "after hours job" in the early 1980's in Princeton New Jersey while I was working at R.C .A.'s David Sarnoff Research Center.
Zip-Bit provided custom consulting services for one off software applications for small business, primarily point of sale and accounting billing, inventory control, prototype data base design for an plastic injection molding companies JITIC (Just In Time Inventory Control).

In the fall of 1986 I relocated to sunny San Diego California to get a new start on life when R.C.A. was split up by G.E.
Zip-Bit provided me a modest means of income while I was restarting my career on the west cost by allowing me to be an independent consultant witting custom data translators in COBOL on a ZENIX (an old UNIX variant) platform, this is a very specialized skill set B.T.W.
